La Bottega in Metzingen

We went to eat there today, October 17th, 2020 on a recommendation. Great ambience and top service. The food is absolutely gigantic and is very recommendable. Great praise. Thank you for the lovely food in the crazy time.

Very comfortably furnished. Small, manageable map. Very good antipasti. The pinsa (similar to a pizza) was also very crispy and juicy at the same time. Only the pasta with salmon cubes and arugula and walnut pesto was rather disappointing and the very proud price of 25 euros! not appropriate. Overall, just over 100 euros for 2 people with 4 glasses of wine, 2 bottles of water, antipasti platter, 1 vegetarian pinsa, 1 pasta and a very good espresso is not extremely expensive, but also not a bargain. Everything should be right ...

La Bottega is one of the best restaurants in Metzingen, which starts with the ambience, continues through the food and ends with the people you meet there. It is a small piece of big city and Italy in Metzingen. You can also get pinsa here, which is extremely tasty and rare. All in all a very chic shop, with a very cozy atmosphere and a gourmet menu, both in terms of food and wine.

The food is simply divine, the service is excellent. The wine list is fine. In my opinion, pasta is even home made, pasta is cooked in a cheese head, truffle is added to pasta with truffles with you, when serving. Very cozy and sincere place.

Food tastes good, but the selection is not very big. Relatively long waiting times (order until food arrives, pay) Maybe they were understaffed that day, that's how it seemed to me. Priced in the upper midfield.

Very good food at very fair prices. Also a very pleasant choice with wine. I recommend Pinot Bianco. Pleasant atmosphere! If you feel like it, bring an old spoon from home and add it to the decoration. But you have to bring some time, nothing for small fast food at the Italian.

Great little Italian restaurant. The pinsa is done perfect and the casarecce with artichoke delicious. Friendly owner and waitress and good relaxed vibe. Prices reasonable.
